CALLS FOR PROPOSALS

Listen, Hear Our Voices - Digitizing existing documentary heritage related to Indigenous languages and cultures

Library and Archives Canada is providing funding to support Indigenous nations, governments and non-profit organizations in digitizing existing documentary heritage related to Indigenous languages and cultures or building the skills, knowledge and resources needed to digitize and preserve documentary heritage related to Indigenous languages and cultures. Indigenous Partnership Fund

Deadline: Tuesday January 30, 2024 at 23:59pm Pacific Time

The Indigenous Partnership Fund supports ongoing consultation and cooperation with Indigenous peoples to implement the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (UN Declaration), the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples Act (UN Declaration Act) and measures included in the UN Declaration Act Action Plan. Implementation, in consultation and cooperation with First Nations, Inuit and Métis, will contribute to the Government of Canada’s continued efforts to break down barriers, combat systemic racism and discrimination, close socio-economic gaps, and promote greater equality and prosperity for Indigenous peoples. Justice Canada will provide funding to support Indigenous peoples’ continued participation in the various implementation, monitoring and oversight processes described in the Action Plan.

Settlement Program and Resettlement Assistance Program

Deadline: Wednesday January 31, 2024 at 5pm

Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) funds the Settlement and Resettlement Assistance Programs in accordance with the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act objective to "promote the successful integration of permanent residents into Canada, while recognizing that integration involves mutual obligations for new immigrants and Canadian society". IRCC also administers the Settlement and Resettlement Assistance Programs to help newcomers settle and adapt to life in Canada, setting them on a path to integration and full citizenship. Through these programs, IRCC works with many partners to deliver a set of ongoing high-quality services to newcomers outside Quebec. Under the Canada-Quebec Accord, Quebec is responsible for the delivery of resettlement and settlement services in this province. The purpose of this Call for Proposals is to establish a comprehensive set of regional and national services for the Settlement and Resettlement Assistance Programs across Canada. Building Communities Through Arts and Heritage - Local Festivals

Deadlines:

Building Communities through Arts and Heritage — Local Festivals component provides funding to local groups for recurring festivals that present the work of local artists; local artisans; local heritage performers or specialists; and local First Nations, Inuit, and Métis cultural carriers. This includes the celebration of LGBTQ2+ communities and Indigenous cultural celebrations. Black-led Philanthropic Endowment Fund
Deadline : Thursday, February 1, 2024

The Foundation for Black Canadians has launched a call for proposals under the Black-led Philanthropic Endowment Fund. Budget 2021 committed to establishing the Black-led Philanthropic Endowment Fund, which is dedicated to supporting Black-led, Black-focused and Black-serving non-profit organizations and registered charities. This initiative aims to address the unique challenges that Black communities face and to address their priorities. Eligible organizations could receive up to $250,000 in funding.

Accelerating innovative solutions to reduce methane emissions from the cattle sector

Deadline: Wednesday February 7, 2024 at 11:59pm

The federal government is looking to advance innovative, scalable and economically viable practices, processes, and technologies that contribute to the net reduction of enteric methane emissions from the cattle sector. For more information or to apply: Challenge | Impact Canada

 

Enhancing Access to Professional Sign Language Interpretation - Step 2 – Solicited Proposals (for organizations that were successful in Step 1)

Deadline: Friday February 9th, 2024 at 3pm

This funding initiative is through the Opportunities Fund for Persons with Disabilities Program. It aims to support projects that will enhance access to professional sign language interpretation. There is a lack of professional sign language interpreters in Canada. The Deaf community, or people whose main method of communication is sign language, don't always have access to sign language interpretation. The Accessible Canada Act has increased the demand for sign language interpretation.

Great Lakes Freshwater Ecosystem Initiative

Deadline: Thursday February 15, 2024 at 11:59pm

The goal of the Great Lakes Freshwater Ecosystem Initiative is to target the most significant environmental challenges affecting Great Lakes water quality and ecosystem health by delivering on Canada’s commitments under the Canada-United States Great Lakes Water Quality Agreement (GLWQA). Several funding streams are available.

Lake Winnipeg basin Program

Deadline: Thursday February 15, 2024 at 11:59pm

Funding is available through the Lake Winnipeg Basin Program to support outcome-focused actions that address program priorities: nutrient reduction, collaborative governance and indigenous engagement. Applicants must submit their project proposal using the Grants and Contributions Enterprise Management System (GCEMS), ECCC’s online application system.

Lake of the Woods Freshwater Ecosystem Initiative

Deadline: Thursday February 15, 2024 at 11:59pm

The Lake of the Woods Freshwater Ecosystem Initiative is focused on the most pressing challenge affecting water quality and aquatic ecosystem health in this basin: preventing toxic and nuisance algae. To assist in achieving this goal, Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) is making funding available to support action by others to prevent toxic and nuisance algae. Applications have to be submitted online via the Grants and Contributions Enterprise Management System.

Social Partnership Initiative for Official Language Minority Communities

Deadline: Friday February 16, 2024 at 3pm

The Social Partnership Initiative (SPI) for Official Language Minority Communities (OLMCs) is an initiative to increase social inclusion of diverse official language minority communities. The SPI is a time-limited initiative that will provide funding through two experienced intermediary organizations to increase the capacity of OLMC-serving organizations. This support will help these organizations to better meet the needs of diverse official language minority communities and work in partnership with others to address common social challenges. Multiculturalism and Anti-Racism Program - Organizational Capacity Building

Deadline: Thursday February 22, 2024 at 11:59 Pacific Time

The Multiculturalism and Anti-Racism Program will aim to better support organizations that advance anti-racism, foster ethnocultural diversity and inclusion, and promote intercultural and interfaith understanding. The objective of the Organizational Capacity Building component is to provide funding to eligible applicants to build and strengthen their internal capacity to meet the objectives of the Multiculturalism and Anti-Racism Program.  

National Acadian Day funding

Deadline: Friday, February 23, 2024

Funds are available to promote the 2024 National Acadian Day and to give Acadians from across Canada the opportunity to get together and celebrate their unique heritage and history. Events during the celebrations of National Acadian Day on August 15 highlight the contribution of Acadians to the Canadian cultural fabric, recognize their historical presence on the land, and celebrate their cultural specificity in all its diversity. EcoAction Community Funding Program

We provide financial support to non-profit and non-government organizations for Canadian communities to take on local action-based projects that produce measurable, positive effects on the environment and to build the capacity of communities to sustain these activities in the future. This year, funding is available for new projects that engage Canadian communities and clearly demonstrate measurable, positive results related to the following key environmental priority: Fresh Water. Wolastoq/Saint John River Freshwater Ecosystem Initiative

As part of the Federal Freshwater Action Plan, the Government of Canada is taking action to restore and protect freshwater ecosystems of national significance through Freshwater Ecosystem Initiatives. The Wolastoq/Saint John River Freshwater Ecosystem Initiative will provide financial support for eligible projects that will improve the water quality and ecological health of the Wolastoq/Saint John River Watershed. Lake Simcoe Freshwater Ecosystem Initiative

Deadline: Friday, March 22, 2024

Lake Simcoe is the largest inland lake in southern Ontario and a significant source of drinking water for hundreds of thousands of Canadians. The region is one of the fastest growing in Canada with a thriving recreation and tourism industry. The watershed also contains significant natural, urban and agricultural systems including parts of the Oak Ridges Moraine. Through the Freshwater Action Plan, we are committed to collaborating with partners to support the reduction in nutrient pollution and resulting nuisance and harmful algal blooms to protect the health of Lake Simcoe for future generations. The Expanded Security Infrastructure Program

Deadline: Applications will be accepted on a continuous intake basis until Sunday March 31, 2024 at 11:59pm

The Communities at Risk: Security Infrastructure Program (SIP) provides time-limited funding and support for communities at risk of hate-motivated incidents/crime to enhance security measures at their gathering spaces. All projects supported through the expanded SIP must be completed and all funding spent by March 31, 2024. Applications for funding will be assessed on a first-come, first-served basis. Indigenous Shelter and Transitional Housing Initiative

Deadline: Applications are reviewed on a continual basis until March 2024

The Indigenous Shelter and Transitional Housing Initiative supports the construction of a minimum of 38 shelters and 50 transitional homes across Canada. Indigenous organizations and governments across Canada are eligible to apply.


Programming: Professional Arts Festivals and Performing Arts Series Presenters – Canada Arts Presentation Fund

Deadline: Monday, April 1, 2024

The Professional Arts Festivals and Performing Arts Series Presenters sub-component of the Canada Arts Presentation Fund (CAPF) supports existing professional arts festivals and performing arts series presenters to offer activities that connect artists with Canadians in their communities. This is primarily achieved through performances, as well as through audience development and outreach initiatives such as pre- or post-show panel discussions, public lectures and workshops, residencies, demonstrations, public rehearsals, and other forms of community engagement activities.

Canada Travelling Exhibitions Indemnification Program

Deadline: Monday, April 1, 2024

The Program has two objectives: first, to increase access for Canadians to Canada's and the world's heritage through the exchange of artifacts and exhibitions in Canada; and second, to provide Canadian art galleries, museums, archives, and libraries with a competitive advantage when competing for the loan of prestigious international exhibitions. Low Carbon Economy Challenge

Deadline: Final funding decisions will be made in summer 2024

The Low Carbon Economy Challenge (the Challenge Fund) leverages Canadian ingenuity to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and generate clean growth. The Challenge Fund continues to support a wide range of Canadian recipients to implement projects that deploy proven, low-carbon technologies resulting in material GHG emissions reductions across sectors, focusing on its cost-effectiveness objective to maximize GHG emissions reductions. Tourism Growth Program

Deadline: Tuesday, March 31, 2026

The Tourism Growth Program is open in Quebec with a budget of $21.1 million. SMEs, NPOs and social economy businesses that are active in the tourism industry can now apply for the program through Canada Economic Development for Quebec Regions (CED). The objective of the program is to increase the capacity of local attractions to build and consolidate a potential offer outside Quebec.

Green Freight Program - Stream 1 Assess and Retrofit

Deadline: Applications will be accepted on a continuous intake basis until March 31, 2027

The Green Freight Program will help fleets reduce their fuel consumption and greenhouse gas emissions through fleet energy assessments, fleet retrofits, engine repowers, logistical best-practice implementation and the purchase of low carbon vehicles. Stream 1 of the Program is providing grant funding up to a maximum of $250,000 per Applicant towards Third-Party Fleet Energy Assessments and Truck/Trailer Equipment Retrofits. Natural Resources Canada has established a list of approved retrofit devices, of which a percentage of the cost will be eligible for a grant. This stream aims to increase the knowledge and capacity of the on-road freight transportation sector to adopt energy efficiency measures tailored to operational needs by providing financial support.

Indigenous Leardership Fund

Deadline: March 31, 2027

The Indigenous Leadership Fund is a new program under the Low Carbon Economy Fund. It provides up to $180 million by 2029 to support climate action by Indigenous peoples. The program will fund Indigenous-owned and led renewable energy, energy efficiency, and low-carbon heating projects. Recognizing the unique rights, interests, and circumstances of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis governments, communities, and organizations, the Indigenous Leadership Fund will use a distinctions-based approach to deliver funding to support projects that are Indigenous-owned and led, advance Indigenous climate leadership and support the self-determined climate, social, and economic priorities of Indigenous peoples. Department of National Defence Indigenous Reconciliation Program - Grants and contributions

Deadline: Funding submissions will be accepted as long as funds remain available for the fiscal year. A funding submission must be made by no later than March 1st of each fiscal year.

The Indigenous Reconciliation Program  provides funding for work that helps build and maintain relationships between Indigenous communities and the Department of National Defence/Canadian Armed Forces (DND/CAF). Starting in fiscal year 2023-2024, up to $1.5 million in grants and contributions funding will be allocated each year through the Indigenous Reconciliation Program. This funding will be available for up to four years, ending in 2026-2027.

Canadian Film or Video Production Tax Credit

Deadline: Applications are reviewed on a continual basis
The Canadian Film or Video Production Tax Credit (CPTC) provides eligible productions with a fully refundable tax credit, available at a rate of 25 per cent of the qualified labour expenditure. Jointly administered by the Canadian Audio-Visual Certification Office (CAVCO) and the Canada Revenue Agency, the CPTC encourages the creation of Canadian film and television programming and the development of an active domestic independent production sector.

Access to Justice in Both Official Languages Support Fund

Deadline: Applications are reviewed on a continual basis

The Support Fund is designed to provide resources to facilitate access to justice in both official languages through various means, such as the creation of legal and linguistic tools, workshops and training to bilingual lawyers and stakeholders of the justice system, the development of related training material and the provision of public legal education and information. The activities and projects undertaken pursuant to the Support Fund are aligned with the Government commitments of encouraging the participation of all Canadians in linguistic duality, and in supporting official language minority communities. Movable Cultural Property Grants

Deadline: Applications are reviewed on a continual basis
Movable Cultural Property Grants help designated organizations acquire cultural property of outstanding significance and national importance to Canada, as outlined in the Cultural Property Export and Import Act. Designated organizations are located in Canada and demonstrate the ability to ensure the long-term preservation of cultural property. Grants can be used to purchase cultural property for which an export permit has been denied or that is important to Canada’s national heritage and available for purchase outside the country.

Canada Cultural Spaces Fund

Deadline: Applications are reviewed on a continual basis

The Canada Cultural Spaces Fund supports the improvement of physical conditions for arts, heritage culture and creative innovation. The Fund supports renovation and construction projects, the acquisition of specialized equipment and feasibility studies related to cultural spaces. Interested applicants should contact a CCSF program officer at their nearest regional office of the Department of Canadian Heritage prior to submitting an application. Black Entrepreneurship Loan Fund

Deadline: Applications are reviewed on a continual basis

The Black Entrepreneurship Loan Fund is a partnership between the Government of Canada, Black-led business organizations, the Business Development Bank of Canada and other financial institutions. It will provide loans up to $250,000 to Black business owners and entrepreneurs across the country.

The Government of Canada has announced that the Loan Fund is accepting loan applications from Black business owners and entrepreneurs through the Federation of African Canadian Economics (FACE). Visit FACE to apply.

Agricultural Clean Technology Program: Research and Innovation Stream

Deadline: Applications are reviewed on a continual basis

As part of the Government of Canada’s strengthened climate plan, A Healthy Environment and a Healthy Economy, the new Agricultural Clean Technology Program aims to create an enabling environment for the development and adoption of clean technology that will help drive the changes required to achieve a low-carbon economy and promote sustainable growth in Canada’s agriculture and agri-food sector. The Research and Innovation Stream will support pre-market innovation, including research, development, demonstration and commercialization activities, to develop transformative clean technologies and enable the expansion of current technologies, in 3 priority areas: green energy and energy efficiency, precision agriculture, bioeconomy.

Rural Transit Solutions Fund - 2nd Phase

Deadline: Applications are reviewed on a continual basis

The Rural Transit Solutions Fund supports the development and expansion of locally driven transit solutions to benefit people living in rural, remote, Indigenous, and Northern communities. Eligible applicants can apply for a contribution of up to $3 million for conventional solutions (e.g., vehicle or software) or up to $5 million for zero-emissions transit solutions. Applications to the Rural Transit Solutions Fund’s capital stream will be accepted via the online portal. Infrastructure Canada will provide notification on its website in advance of the closure of the application intake. Support for Regional Quantum Innovation

Deadline: Applications are reviewed on a continual basis

Canada Economic Development's support for regional quantum innovation (RQI) aims to help small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and non-profit organizations (NPOs) adopt, develop and commercialize quantum technologies and products based on these technologies. It makes it possible to position SMEs and NPOs, in addition to the Quebec organizations that support them, in this emerging sector and strengthen Canada’s global leadership in the quantum sector. Business scale-up and productivity

Deadline: Applications are reviewed on a continual basis

This funding, which aims to foster innovation and business growth, can be awarded at any stage of a business’s development. Projects submitted by SMEs or NPOs are funded for fostering expansion, productivity and growth through innovation. This funding is provided under the REGI program. Main sectors that are eligible are manufacturing, food processing, information, communications and multimedia technologies and life sciences. Diversify your Economy

Deadline: Applications are reviewed on a continual basis

This funding aims to promote the regions and foster the development of local economies. Specifically, it is intended to help boost spending by tourists from outside Quebec; increase the presence of international organizations; strengthen economic activity in the regions by supporting local business projects; and generate investments and economic spin-offs through the acquisition of community economic facilities. Regional Innovation Ecosystems

Deadline: Applications are reviewed on a continual basis

This stream targets NPO projects that help create an innovation-friendly entrepreneurial environment that fosters the growth and productivity of businesses in a given region. The funding is provided under the REGI program. To be eligible, projects must meet one of the following objectives: foster closer ties among the players in the various ecosystems; foster the creation, growth and maintenance of regional clusters or attract foreign investment. Main sectors that are eligible: manufacturing, food processing, information and communications technologies and life sciences. Other sectors may also be eligible. Economic Development Initiative – Official Languages

Deadline: Applications are reviewed on a continual basis

The aim of this funding is to foster the economic development of official language minority communities (OLMCs). The funding may serve to kickstart innovative or entrepreneurial projects, solidify partnerships or diversify economic activities in these communities. Canada Small Business Financing Program

Deadline: Applications are reviewed on a continual basis

Changes have been made to the Canada Small Business Financing Program  that cut red tape for small business and increase their access to financing. The changes include expanding financing eligibility to cover intangible assets, such as new product trademarks or software upgrades; increasing maximum loan amounts to 1,15 million dollars; extending government coverage periods for equipment and leasehold improvements; and introducing a line of credit option of up to $150,000.

Affordable Housing Innovation Fund

The Affordable Housing Innovation Fund  supports new ideas that will drive change and disrupt the industry – ideas and approaches that will evolve the affordable housing sector and create the next generation of housing in Canada. You can get funding for your innovations to:

Preservation Funding for community housing

Deadline : Applications are reviewed on a continual basis

The Preservation Funding for community housing  is a financial assistance to help community housing providers complete preservation activities related to the sustainability of existing community housing projects. The maximum Preservation Funding available per project to complete eligible activities is $50,000.

Shelter Enhancement Program (SEP)

Deadline: Applications are reviewed on a continual basis

The Shelter Enhancement Program (SEP)  is funding to build and repair shelters and housing for people who are fleeing domestic violence. This program is open to all First Nations or First Nation housing organizations that operate housing for people fleeing domestic violence. The Net-Zero Challenge for Businesses

Deadline: Applications are reviewed on a continual basis
The government announced the launch of the Net-Zero Challenge, a new national voluntary initiative for businesses operating in Canada. Businesses that join the Challenge commit to developing and implementing credible and effective plans to transition their facilities and operations to net-zero emissions by 2050. Companies will benefit from technical guidance, best practices, a community of peer businesses and the opportunity to highlight their commitment to achieving net-zero emissions. The Net-Zero Challenge also includes various participation tiers to encourage ambition and track progress in net-zero planning.

 

The Canada Digital Adoption Program

Deadline: Applications are reviewed on a continual basis

Determined to help small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) realize their full potential by adopting digital technologies, the Government of Canada has launched the Canada Digital Adoption Program (CDAP). CDAP comprises two separate funding components:


National Housing Co-Investment Fund: Black-led Organizations

Deadline: Applications are reviewed on a continual basis

Earlier this year, the Government of Canada announced that up to $50 million would be dedicated to building housing for Black communities.  Through the National Housing Co-Investment Fund: Black-led Organizations, up to 40% targeted funding for new affordable housing for Black households will be available. This program is designed to help Black-led organizations build housing and increase the supply of affordable housing for Black communities in Canada. The Fund prioritizes partnerships between Black-led organizations and other partners such as governments, non-profit organizations and other similar groups.

Coming up: Creative Export Canada

The Creative Export Canada program provides visibility and funding to help Canadian creative works achieve financial success abroad. CEC aims to heighten exposure of Canadian creative works in international markets and to increase export profitability for Canada’s creative industries.

Additional public consultations on measures to modernize Canada’s approach to countering foreign interference
Deadline : Friday, February 2, 2024
The government launched additional public consultations on measures to modernize Canada’s approach to countering foreign interference. Public consultations on the foreign influence transparency registry have recently concluded, and the results are now available. These additional consultations announced will focus on potential legislative amendments to the Canadian Security Intelligence Service Act, the Criminal Code, the Security of Information Act and the Canada Evidence Act. Anyone living in Canada, or Canadians living abroad, are encouraged to share their views through the consultation webpage. Online submissions will be accepted until February 2, 2024. In addition, to the online public consultations, the government will also seek the input of experts, stakeholders, and community groups through roundtable discussions in the coming weeks and months. 

Pre-Budget Consultations 2024

The Government of Canada is inviting all Canadians to share their ideas as part of pre-budget consultations on how to best support Canadians, Canadian businesses, and the Canadian economy. The feedback received from Canadians will help inform measures and investments in Budget 2024 that will help build an economy that works for everyone. The federal government launched a consultation on the creation of the Federal Plastics Registry, open to Canadians and all interested parties, which will be used as a tool to monitor and track plastic from the time it is produced to its end of life. This is another step to deliver on Canada’s comprehensive plan to reduce plastic pollution and waste.


Market Basket Measure of poverty (2023-base) consultative engagement

Statistics Canada invites you to complete a short crowdsourcing survey to help validate how we measure poverty in Canada: Survey on the Market Basket Measure of Poverty. By selecting your province or territory, city, family size and housing tenure information, you can find out how much a family would need to spend in order to live above the poverty line in your community. The consultative engagement phase of the third comprehensive review of the MBM began with the publication of Launch of the Third Comprehensive Review of the Market Basket Measure. These consultative engagement activities will help inform decisions made to refine and update Canada's official poverty measure. By participating in this consultation, you will support Statistics Canada's ability to accurately measure poverty.

Co-developing distinctions-based Indigenous health legislation
The Government of Canada, in collaboration with Indigenous partners and the provinces and territories, is developing new distinctions-based Indigenous health legislation to facilitate access to high quality, culturally appropriate health services. Summer Leadership Program (SLP)

The Summer Leadership Program (SLP) is a unique political summer internship designed to invest in the success of young leaders in Canada. SLP provides learning opportunities to young people across the country within the realm of federal Liberal politics. The program works by giving participants meaningful employment in the offices of Members of Parliament and Ministers, along with the Prime Minister's Office and the Liberal Research Bureau, as well as training and professional development resources. This year, SLP will be returning to a primarily in-person experience. Participants must be in Ottawa for the first 8 weeks of the program (May 6 - June 28). The second half of the program (July 2 - August 23) offers flexibility with options for a virtual, in-person, or hybrid experience, according to offices’ needs. https://slp2024ple.infolib.ca/.

Second Language Program - Explore

Deadline: Tuesday, February 6, 2024

Explore is an intensive language immersion program that provides opportunities for English-speaking students to study French, and for French-speaking students to study English. For participants 16 and older, Explore sessions are offered during the spring or summer, which last between 31 and 33 days. For 13- to 15-year-olds, three-week summer sessions are available. Some virtual Explore sessions are offered for those who are unable to participate in person. The program contributes $3,350 for each participant 16 years and older and $2,400 for each participant 13 to 15 years old to cover the costs of tuition, instructional materials, meals, and lodging. Parliamentary Guide Program

Guides are university students who deliver tours of Parliament to visitors, parliamentarians and dignitaries from around the world. Applicants must meet the following criteria to be eligible to apply: being a Canadian citizen or permanent resident, studying at a Canadian university and being bilingual in English and French. French Enrichment Program - Destination Clic

Deadline: Tuesday, February 27, 2024

Destination Clic is a three-week summer program for francophone students in Grades 8, 9 and 10 who attend a French-language (French as a first language) school and live outside of Quebec. The program contributes $2,400 for each participant to cover the costs of tuition fees, instructional materials, meals, and lodging. To be eligible, students must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident, have permanent residence outside of Quebec, be enrolled in a French-language school (French as a first language) in Grade 8, 9 or 10 and have been a full-time student for at least one term during the current school year.

Note: Students who speak French as a first language but do not attend a French-language school may also apply, but further documentation or assessment may be requested to ensure they have the required level of fluency. Destination Clic – French Enrichment Program

Language Assistant Program - Odyssey

Deadline: Tuesday, March 12, 2024

Odyssey is a bilingual, paid work experience that provides opportunities for postsecondary students to travel to another province. English-speaking candidates can work in English in Quebec or New Brunswick, while French-speaking candidates can work in French in a province or territory other than their own. Youth Exchanges Canada

Deadline: Applications reviewed on a continual basis

The Exchanges Canada Program helps youth to enhance their knowledge and understanding of the country, while connecting with other youth in Canada. Youth Exchanges Canada supports a number of Canadian organizations in offering reciprocal exchanges for individual youth or groups of youth, generally between the ages of 12 and 17. Youth from different parts of the country are paired according to their ages and interests, then each participant takes a turn hosting their “twin” in their home.
