CALLS FOR PROPOSALS
The Canada Digital Adoption Program
Determined to help small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) realize their full potential by adopting digital technologies, the Government of Canada has launched the Canada Digital Adoption Program (CDAP). CDAP comprises two separate funding components:
- The first Funding “Grow Your Business Online” offers a grant to small customer-facing businesses to help them adopt e-commerce technologies.
- The second Funding “ Boost Your Business Technology ” is aimed to SMEs that want to further improve their productivity and become more competitive in the digital marketplace. It aims to support SMES interested in adopting new customer relationship software, digital inventory management systems, network security software and other technologies.

Funding to support skills development and training-to-employement for Indigenous people
Deadline: Monday, May 9th 2022
As a complement to the Indigenous Skills and Employment Training program, the Skills and Partnership Fund (SPF) is a project-based fund that supports partnerships between Indigenous organizations and industry employers to provide skills training for Indigenous peoples linked to economic opportunities at the local, regional, and national level. By increasing access to training that is demand-driven, the SPF plays a key role in directly linking training efforts and Indigenous peoples to specific jobs to improve their employment outcomes. National operation funding stream - Social Development Partnerships Program - Disability
Deadline: Friday, May 13th 2022
The Social Development Partnerships Program- Disability Component (SDPP-D) is a grants and contributions program that seeks to improve the participation and social inclusion of persons with disabilities in all aspects of Canadian society. SDPP-D provides operating and project funding to not-for-profit organizations. SDPP-D National Operating Funding supports capacity building efforts of national non-profit disability organizations in 4 key capacity areas : 1 - Governance and accountability; 2 - Effective leadership and operations; 3 - Developing and maintaining partnerships; 4 - Measurable impact
Addressing Racism and Discrimination in Canada's Health System Program
Deadline : Sunday, May 15, 2022
The government of Canada announced the launch of a Call for Proposals for projects under the Addressing Racism and Discrimination in Canada’s Health System Program, a new program aimed at combating racism and discrimination with a view to improving equitable access to health services for racialized and marginalized populations. Supported by $13 million in funding, this Call for Proposals is focused on projects to support Indigenous peoples through:
- cultural safety and humility training,
- curriculum and/or accreditation requirements for health services providers, and
- integrating culturally safe care in acute care settings and traditional approaches to health
Round 3, the Northern Access Round, of the Housing Supply Challenge
Deadline : Thursday, June 23, 2022
Round 3 of the Housing Supply Challenge is open. The government will invest up to $80M in funding for teams who put forward solutions that can improve Canada’s housing supply chain in northern and remote regions. Northern and remote areas see high costs to build and maintain housing due to high transportation costs, high investment risks, long timelines and limited access to resources and infrastructure.
Pathways to Safe Indigenous Communities Initiative
The Pathways to Safe Indigenous Communities Initiative will provide $103.8 million over 5 years to assist First Nations, Inuit and Métis communities and partners, both on and off reserve, to implement Indigenous-designed projects to improve community safety and well-being. This initiative will support projects which:
- Recognize the importance of traditional knowledge and practices to contributing to greater community safety and well-being;
- Recognize holistic models of community safety and well-being;
- Address existing and emerging needs relating to the safety and well-being go Indigenous women and girls and 2SLGBTQQIA+ people.

Legislative Review of the Tobacco and Vaping Products Act
Deadline: Wednesday, April 27th 2022
The government launched a legislative review on the Tobacco and Vaping Products Act. The Government of Canada strives to protect the health of Canadians from nicotine addiction and tobacco use. To support this, the Tobacco and Vaping Products Act was amended in 2018, with a focus on preventing uptake by youth and those who do not use tobacco products. The Government of Canada is inviting the public to provide feedback on how the Act is progressing towards achieving its vaping-related objectives.
Just Transition Through Sustainable Jobs initiative
Deadline : Saturday, April 30, 2022
The Government of Canada announced the consultation launch for the Just Transition Through Sustainable Jobs initiative, which will support workers and communities in the transition to a cleaner future. The government is accepting written comments until April 30, 2022, at [email protected]. Following the conclusion of these consultations, a “What We Heard” report will be posted online to summarize the findings.
National Action Plan on Combatting Hate
Deadline : Saturday, April 30, 2022
The Government of Canada is taking necessary actions to address the troubling rise of hate crimes and hate groups, not just because of the devastating consequences they have on the victims and their families, but also because they can divide communities and increase insecurity nationwide. That’s why, the government is launching consultations for the first ever National Action Plan on Combatting Hate. We want to ensure that people across Canada, particularly those with lived experience of hate, have their say in defining how this action plan will deliver tangible change.
Canada’s Critical Infrastructure
Deadline: Wednesday, June 1st 2022
Canada’s critical infrastructure is facing a range of evolving challenges. A renewed approach will better support the safety, security, health, and economic well-being of Canadians. The Government of Canada will engage with the broader critical infrastructure community, including critical infrastructure owners and operators and other involved stakeholders from the public and private sectors. Share your perspective on what is going well, what needs to be improved, and what the vision for the future of Canada’s critical infrastructure should be.
Responding to oil spills with alternative response measures
Deadline : Friday, September 16, 2022
The federal government is considering legal changes to enable the safe and appropriate use of alternative response measures to address oil spills in Canada, regardless of the spill source. We want your feedback on the potential changes.
Co-developing distinctions-based Indigenous health legislation
The Government of Canada, in collaboration with Aboriginal partners and the provinces and territories, is developing new distinctions-based Aboriginal health legislation to facilitate access to high quality, culturally appropriate health services. Co-Development of First Nations Police Services Legislation
The Government of Canada is working on improving policing and community safety services that address the specific needs of First Nations Peoples.
