Equitable Access to Reading Program (EARP)

Equitable Access to Reading Program (EARP) aims to increase the production of alternate format reading materials for persons with print disabilities.
Enabling Fund for Official Language Minority Communities – Employment Assistance Services

This funding opportunity aims to support Official Language Minority Communities (OLMC) organizations to deliver Employment Assistance Services (EAS) to English-speaking communities in Quebec and Francophone communities outside Quebec in their first official language.
Canada Arts Training Fund

The Canada Arts Training Fund (CATF) supports arts training in Canada. The CATF provides financial support for the operations of Canadian arts organizations that specialize in training artists for professional national or international artistic careers at the highest levels.
Green Wood Construction Program (GCWood)
Deadline: Sunday, June 30, 2024
The Green Wood Construction (GWCC) program encourages greater use of wood construction technologies in building projects. The program will seek to target innovative building solutions and schematic designs under key areas of interest including, but not limited to, prefabrication including modular buildings, retrofits, and design for disassembly/adaptability. Investments in Forest Industry Transformation (IFIT)
Deadline: Sunday, June 30, 2024
The IFIT program helps improve the environmental performance of the forestry sector by supporting demonstration and uptake projects that promote the decarbonization of industrial processes, as well as the efficient use of resources that produce more value from the same amount of wood. It continues to fund projects that produce renewable energy and sustainable bioproducts and seeks to invest in projects that integrate technologies leading to greater energy efficiency and explore bioenergy carbon capture in forest sector operations. The IFIT program hosted webinars in August (one in English and one in French) to provide information about the program’s application and evaluation process and to answer questions from applicants. Veteran and Family Well-being Fund

Veterans Affairs Canada launched a new call for applications for the Veteran and Family Well-being Fund. The Fund provides funds to implement initiatives and conduct research on areas like Veteran homelessness, mental health, the transition to life after service, and more.
Enabling Accessibility Fund (EAF) - Small projects component
Deadline : Tuesday, July 23, 2024 at 3pm
The Enabling Accessibility Fund (EAF) - Small projects component supports small-scale construction, renovation and retrofitting projects across Canada that have a quick impact to increase accessibility in community spaces or workplaces.Eligible projects may receive a grant of up to $125,000. Examples of projects include: building ramps, accessible doors and accessible washrooms; installing lifts and elevators; constructing multi-sensory rooms and accessible playgrounds; building accessible parking and drop-off areas; and installing accessible electric vehicle charging stations.

AgriInvest

AgriInvest is one of the business risk management programs the Sustainable Canadian Agricultural Partnership (Sustainable CAP). AgriInvest is a self-managed producer-government savings account designed to help you manage small income declines and make investments to manage risk and improve market income.
AgriStability
Deadline: Monday, September 30, 2024 to submit your 2023 form without penalty
AgriStability is one of the Business Risk Management programs under the Sustainable Canadian Agricultural Partnership (Sustainable CAP). AgriStability protects Canadian producers against large declines in farming income for reasons such as production loss, increased costs and market conditions.
AgriStability is a margin based program designed to help producers manage large income declines.
Each year, you must enroll in the program, pay your fee and submit a form by the applicable deadlines.
Canada Travelling Exhibitions Indemnification Program
Deadline: The Program accepts applications for indemnity twice per year:
Through the Canadian Travelling Exhibitions Indemnification Program, the Government of Canada assumes the financial risk for loss and damage to objects and appurtenances on loan for eligible travelling exhibitions in Canadian museums, art galleries or other cultural institutions. The Program has 2 objectives: to increase access to Canadian and world heritage through the exchange of artefacts and exhibitions in Canada; and to help reduce the financial cost of insurance and allow Canadian art galleries, museums, archives and libraries to present high-quality exhibitions on themes and with contents of national or global significance
Building Communities through Arts and Heritage - Local festivals
Deadlines: Tuesday, October 15, 2024 for festivals starting between 1 July and 31 August of the next calendar year
The Local Festivals component of the Building Communities through Arts and Heritage program provides funding to local groups for recurring festivals that present the work of local artists; local artisans; local heritage performers or specialists; and local First Nations, Inuit, and Métis cultural carriers. This includes the celebration of LGBTQ2+ communities and Indigenous cultural celebrations.
Canada Cultural Investment Fund
Deadline for Endowment Incentives : Sunday, December 1
Deadline for Limited Support to Endangered Arts Organizations : Applications are accepted at any time throughout the year.
The Canada Cultural Investment Fund encourages private sector investment, partnership and sound business practices to help arts and heritage organizations be better rooted and recognized in their communities. The Canada Cultural Investment Fund provides support through three components: The Strategic Initiatives component provides financial assistance for projects involving multiple partners that will help arts and heritage organizations improve their business practices and diversify their revenues. The Endowment Incentives component encourages arts organizations to build new revenue streams. Canadians are encouraged to support the arts by providing donations to professional arts organization's endowment fund. The government provides a funding incentive for these donations. The Limited Support to Endangered Arts Organizations component supports those rare instances where a professional arts organization faces the prospect of closure but there is a high degree of support for its continuation and a viable business/restructuring plan. Assistance through this component can enable an arts organization to restructure, so it can continue to contribute to the community it is serving.
Critical Minerals Infrastructure Fund - Indigenous Grants Program
Deadline: Tuesday, December 31, 2024
The Critical Minerals Infrastructure Fund (CMIF) will provide up to $1.5 billion in federal funding over seven years for clean energy and transportation infrastructure projects necessary to enable the sustainable development and expansion of critical minerals in Canada. The CMIF currently offers grants to support Indigenous engagement, participation and capacity building related to infrastructure projects that would enable critical minerals development.
Zero Emission Vehicle Awareness Initiative (ZEVAI) - Indigenous-led projects pilot
Deadline: Monday, March 31, 2025
The Zero Emission Vehicle Awareness Initiative (ZEVEI) supports projects that aim to increase awareness, knowledge and public confidence in zero-emission vehicles (ZEV) and public charging and refueling infrastructure. The ZEVAI helps fund outreach, education, and capacity-building activities, ultimately enabling greater adoption of ZEVs by Canadians in all regions of the country. The Ingidenous-led projects pilot program supports Indigenous-led projects that aim to address awareness and knowledge gaps related to all types of ZEVs, lower-carbon medium- and heavy-duty vehicles, and clean fuels, such as clean hydrogen and biofuels.
Tourism Growth Program
Deadline: Tuesday, March 31, 2026
The Tourism Growth Program is now open in Quebec, with a budget of $21.1 million. SMEs, NPOs and social economy enterprises active in the tourism industry can now apply to the program through Canada Economic Development for Quebec Regions (CED). CED’s support focuses on increasing the capacity of local tourist attractions to enhance their potential to attract visitors from outside Quebec by supporting the development of tourism products and experiences, in particular in rural and remote regions.
Green Freight Program - Stream 1 Assess and Retrofit
Deadline: Applications will be accepted on a continuous intake basis until March 31, 2027
The Green Freight Program will help fleets reduce their fuel consumption and greenhouse gas emissions through fleet energy assessments, fleet retrofits, engine repowers, logistical best-practice implementation and the purchase of low carbon vehicles. Stream 1 of the Program is providing grant funding up to a maximum of $250,000 per Applicant towards Third-Party Fleet Energy Assessments and Truck/Trailer Equipment Retrofits. Natural Resources Canada has established a list of approved retrofit devices, of which a percentage of the cost will be eligible for a grant. This stream aims to increase the knowledge and capacity of the on-road freight transportation sector to adopt energy efficiency measures tailored to operational needs by providing financial support.
The Low Carbon Economy Fund - Indigenous Leadership Fund
Deadline: Wednesday, March 31, 2027
The Low Carbon Economy Fund (LCEF) supports projects to reduce Canada’s greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, generate clean growth, build resilient communities, and create good jobs for Canadians. The Indigenous Leadership Fund is a new program under the Low Carbon Economy Fund to support climate action by Indigenous peoples. The program will fund Indigenous-owned and led renewable energy, energy efficiency, and low-carbon heating projects. Recognizing the unique rights, interests, and circumstances of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis governments, communities, and organizations, the Indigenous Leadership Fund will use a distinctions-based approach to deliver funding to support projects that are Indigenous-owned and led, advance Indigenous climate leadership and support the self-determined climate, social, and economic priorities of Indigenous peoples. Wine Sector Support Program

The Wine Sector Support Program aims to provide short-term financial support to licensed Canadian wineries as they transition and adapt to ongoing and emerging challenges impacting the financial resilience and competitiveness of the wine industry.

The AgriMarketing Program is a $129.97-million program under the Sustainable Canadian Agricultural Partnership (Sustainable CAP). The program will support national agricultural sectors to increase and diversify exports to international markets and seize domestic market opportunities and grow the economy by increasing and diversifying Canadian exports of agriculture, agri-food, agri-based products, including fish and seafood, by increasing the visibility of Canadian products and increasing the capacity of exporting producers to identify and seize market development opportunities in targeted markets
Canada Music Fund
Application deadline for individual and collective initiatives: Please contact the Foundation Assisting Canadian Talent on Recordings(FACTOR) and Fondation Musicaction (Musicaction) for application deadlines.
The Individual Initiatives component provides financial assistance to undertake activities that are central to the development of Canadian artists, the promotion of their music and the expansion of their audience. Examples of supported activities under this component include the production and marketing of Canadian sound recordings, domestic and international touring (including showcases) of Canadian artists, artist management, publishing of Canadian musical works and business development. Applicants have access to annual funding either through comprehensive envelope funding or project-by-project support. The Collective Initiatives component provides financial assistance to undertake activities that help Canadian artists and industry professionals gain a greater profile at home and abroad, increase their artistic and business skills, and build their export-readiness and overall competitiveness.
Canada Media Fund

The Canada Media Fund (CMF) supports the creation of popular, innovative Canadian content and software applications. The CMF is a not-for-profit corporation that supports the Canadian television and digital media industries through two streams of funding. The Experimental Stream encourages the development of innovative, interactive content and leading-edge software applications for digital media platforms. The Convergent Stream supports the creation of convergent television and digital media content which Canadians anytime, anywhere.
Canada Arts Presentation Fund
Deadline for programming Professional Arts Festivals and Performing Arts Series Presenters: applicants must contact their regional office to determine which deadline is appropriate for their organization.
Deadline for Development: All applicants must contact the nearest regional office of the Department of Canadian Heritage to verify the application deadline.
The CAPF provides financial assistance to organizations that professionally present arts festivals or performing arts series (arts presenters) and organizations that offer support to arts presenters. The CAPF has 2 main components — Programming and Development. The Programming component has 2 streams: Professional Arts Festivals and Performing Arts Series Presenters; and Presenter Support Organizations.The Canada Arts Presentation Fund (CAPF) is committed to providing equitable funding opportunities that reflect the many perspectives of Canada’s cultural life. Special considerations may be given by the program to funding applications submitted by organizations from or supporting Indigenous, Black, racialized, official language minority and 2SLGBTQI+ communities, organizations that are women-led, or serving D/deaf people and people living with a disability.

Helping 2SLGBTQI+Older Adults to Age in Place

The purpose of this consultation is to gather information to increase understanding of the experiences of older adults who are Two-Spirit, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and intersex, or who use other terms related to gender and sexual diversity (2SLGBTQI+) and living at home. The information gathered could support policy development as part of the commitment of the Government of Canada's first Federal 2SLGBTQI+Action Plan. Consultations towards the elaboration of regulations related to the modernization of Canada’s official languages regime

June 2023, our government modernized Canada's official languages regime by modernizing the Official Languages Act and enacting a new law, The Use of French in Federally Regulated Private Businesses Act. Explore – Second Language Program
Application deadline: Friday, May 31, 2024
Explore is an intensive language immersion program that provides opportunities for English-speaking students to study French, and for French-speaking students to study English. For participants 16 and older, Explore sessions are offered during the spring or summer, which last between 31 and 33 days. For 13- to 15-year-olds, three-week summer sessions are available. Some virtual Explore sessions are offered for those who are unable to participate in person. The program contributes $3,350 for each participant 16 years and older and $2,400 for each participant 13 to 15 years old to cover the costs of tuition, instructional materials, meals, and lodging.

Members of the Employment Insurance Board of Appeal

The federal government has launched a selection process to seek applications from a diverse range of qualified Canadians for appointment to the new Employment Insurance Board of Appeal (EI BOA). The EI Board of Appeal will act as an independent administrative tribunal composed of regionally based three member panels representing the government, workers, and employers equally to better serve Canadians. The BOA will be mandated to provide simple, quick, and fair hearings on first level EI appeals.

Odyssey – Language Assistant Program
Deadline: Open for applications
Odyssey is a bilingual, paid work experience that provides opportunities for postsecondary students to travel to another province. English-speaking candidates can work in English in Quebec or New Brunswick, while French-speaking candidates can work in French in a province or territory other than their own. Participants work 25 hours per week and receive a taxable salary of $27,000 for a nine-month work term.
